Anne Frank House- Very steep and old building which was home of Anne Frank during the holocaust. In the year 1944, everybody in the Annex was arrested and died not long after except for Anne's father, Otto Frank.

Keukenhof Gardens- The second largest flower garden in the world also known as the "Garden of Europe" (42 minutes by car or 36.8 km from Amsterdam). Approximately 7 million tulip bulbs are planted here annually.
Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keisersgracht are the 3 main canals in Amsterdam. Herengracht is named after the Heren Regeerders who governed the city in the 16th and 17th century. The most historic part of the canal is the Golden Bend which is lined with many big mansions to represent all the constructors and shipbuilders that have helped make the original canals. Prinsengracht is the longest canal in Amsterdam and named after the Prince of Orange. Most of the canal houses were built in the Dutch Golden Age of the United Provinces. The Anne Frank House was built along this canal. Keisersgracht is the widest canal in Amsterdam. It is named after Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor.
Hoge Veluwe National Park- It was formed in the early 20th century and covers 5400 hectares of woodland. Many animals call Hoge Veluwe home. Some include Moufflons, Red Deer and Badgers.
Van Gogh Museum- His paintings, Starry Night, Sunflowers, Café Terrace and many more, are on display for everybody to see and enjoy. It costs 15 euros to enter the museum.
Rembrandt House Museum- Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) made many of his masterpieces in this house with his wife, Saskia, and son, Titus. The interior of the house has been restored to its former 17th century glory and has been refurnished with works of furniture, art and other objects.
